We start off by listening to Bill Burr tell us about a song he recently heard that reminded him of his relationship with his wife. He doesn’t just tell us about it, he actually sings it to us. Then we get another glimpse in Bill and Nia’s relationship from 2018. Tons of passive aggressive and outright aggressive behavior.
There are a number of candidates for cringe of the week including the Morning Mashup’s Instagram post, a debate between Ana Kasparian and Pearl Davis, Brendan Schaub explaining he could have been a rocket scientist, and Rob Saul smashing his television to the floor during his big return to streaming. Opie bailed on Ron’s standup show that he promised he’d go to and Ron lashes out because he’s very hurt. Simon from the Worst Ever Podcast joins us to play Robert Kelly’s retelling of his heroic rescue of a young girl who was drowning in the ocean and Big Jay Oakerson’s attempts to make it entertaining. Stuttering John also saved a life and even though he doesn’t remember doing it, he couldn’t wait to brag about it. Megan and Annie join us for a round of “Is It Gay?” We finish up with a teaser, reviews, and voicemails.
